Let me take you back to a time when my kitchen experiments involved a lot of eggs—like, a whole lot 🍳
I was on a mission to crack the code (pun intended) for the fluffiest scrambled eggs ever.
After countless attempts and a few mishaps (sorry, overcooked eggs!), I stumbled upon a hack that changed my breakfast routine: CARBONATED WATER!
You might be wondering, "What does carbonated water have to do with eggs?" 🤔
When you whisk carbonated water into your eggs, those little bubbles work their magic. They create pockets of air throughout the mixture, resulting in eggs that are lighter than a feather and oh-so-fluffy!
Remember, Sodarizer isn’t just for drink recipes— it can also be for food! Try it for yourself 😉
Ingredients
4 large eggs
1/4 cup carbonated water
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Grated cheese, chopped herbs, or diced vegetables for additional flavor
Directions
Crack the eggs into a bowl and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Gently pour in the carbonated water. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is well combined and slightly frothy.
Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium-low heat and add butter. Allow the butter to melt and bubble slightly without browning.
Pour the whisked eggs into the pan and let them cook undisturbed for a moment.
Gently stir and fold the eggs as they begin to set.
Repeat until the eggs are mostly cooked but still slightly runny. Optional: Add grated cheese, chopped herbs, or diced vegetables to the eggs and stir gently.
Remove the scrambled eggs from the pan and immediately transfer to a serving plate.
